· CAI co-sponsored a broadcast debate on the issue of secession in Los Angeles with the Casden Institute for the Study of the Jewish Role in American Life. The debate featured Hon. Keith Richman (Assembly member, 38th District), Laurette Hartley (Co-Chair, San Fernando Valley Independence Committee) debating Hon. Jack Weiss (Los Angeles City Councilmember, 5th District) and John Mack (President, Los Angeles Urban League) and was moderated by Sherry Bebitch Jeffe of the USC School of Policy, Planning and Development.
